The National Women’s Soccer League will introduce the world to the next crop of talent on Thursday night. The 2023 NWSL Draft will begin at 6 p.m. ET in Philadelphia and you can catch all the action on Paramount+ and CBS Sports HQ. CBS Sports Network will air the first hour of the draft at 6 p.m. ET.
California high schooler Alyssa Thompson went first overall to Angel City FC thanks to a series of wild trades made in the days leading up to the draft.
There are 256 players who will be available for only 48 selections, which means teams will still be on the lookout for undrafted free agents over the next few days after the draft comes to a close.
